Interstate Retailers: Get Up To $150 Travel Reimbursement

At Retail Property Marketplace, we connect Australia’s retail leasing community under one roof. To ensure the right retailers can attend – regardless of location – we’re reimbursing up to $150 in flight costs for qualified retailers traveling interstate.

This initiative supports retailers actively expanding their store networks to connect directly with national landlords, developers, and leasing agents.

What you get:

  • Up to $150 towards domestic flights to Sydney
  • Full day of pre-scheduled 1-to-1 meetings with landlords and developers (minimum 4 required)
  • Direct access to leasing opportunities across Australia
  • Industry networking at our evening drinks reception

Your commitment:

  • Book and attend minimum 45 x 25-minute meetings with exhibitors
  • Be available 9am-4:30pm (up to 15 meeting slots)

Example savings:

  • Melbourne to Sydney: ~$180 (we cover $150)
  • Brisbane to Sydney: ~$177 (we cover $150)
  • Adelaide to Sydney: ~$195 (we cover $150)

Terms & Conditions – Interstate Retailer Travel Initiative

Eligibility:

  • Must book and attend minimum 4 x 25-minute 1-to-1 meetings with exhibitors
  • Must be available for meetings 9am-4:30pm (15 meeting slots available)
  • Open to retailers and retail brands actively pursuing store expansion
  • Must be traveling to Sydney from interstate locations within Australia
  • Subject to approval by connexU event team
  • Limited spaces available – first-come, first-served basis for approved applicants

Reimbursement Details:

  • Maximum reimbursement: AU$150 per retailer
  • Covers domestic economy flights to Sydney only
  • Reimbursement processed after event attendance is confirmed
  • Original receipts or booking confirmations required
  • Does not cover accommodation, ground transport, or other travel expenses

Application Process:

  1. Submit Expression of Interest form
  2. Await approval confirmation from connexU team
  3. Book your flights (economy class, domestic routes)
  4. Register as event delegate
  5. Attend Retail Property Marketplace on 19 March 2026
  6. Submit reimbursement claim with receipts and invoice to connexU within 28 days post-event

Important:

  • Minimum 4 pre-booked meetings required – no exceptions
  • Reimbursement only available to retailers who attend the full event and complete all booked meetings
  • No-shows or failure to attend booked meetings forfeits reimbursement eligibility
  • connexU reserves the right to approve or decline applications at its discretion
  • Initiative cannot be combined with other promotional offers
  • Reimbursement paid via bank transfer within 30 days of claim submission
